About
Training 2000
Training 2000 is a long-established training provider, founded in 1966, offering apprenticeship programmes, traineeships and commercial training solutions for employers and individuals. Based primarily in Blackburn with additional facilities in Preston, they train over 2,000 learners each year across a range of programmes, helping them gain qualifications, work experience and clear progression routes into employment or further training. Since 2017, Training 2000 has been part of the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan), giving apprentices a direct progression pathway onto degree apprenticeship routes. The organisation works closely with employers locally, nationally and internationally to design and deliver bespoke apprenticeship and commercial training packages that respond to specific workforce and skills needs, and it continually measures outcomes and success with its customers. Training 2000 highlights strong learner support from specialist teams and access to well-equipped training facilities, and reports that 99% of apprentices would recommend them to a friend. The provider has been graded “Good” by Ofsted and maintains ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications, underlining its focus on quality, continuous improvement and delivering value for customers.
Apprenticeships Offered:
Apprenticeship standards detail what an apprentice will be doing in their day-to-day job role.
Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
Listed here are the apprenticeship standards this training provider offers training for.
