Find a Training Provider ranks 20 UK apprenticeship training providers using the Department for Education's published 2024/25 achievement rates and employer and apprentice feedback, weighted with learner volume and specialist depth. It is compiled independently, updated monthly, and no provider can pay to appear or to move up.
This overall list is FATP's editorial index: a composite we weight ourselves (achievement 40%, satisfaction 25%, learner volume 20%, specialist depth 15%). The per-standard tables are the DfE's published figures with no weighting at all, and if you only trust one thing on this site, trust those. We do not score governance, accreditation or trainer expertise, because no published national dataset covers them. How rankings work
Achievement rate — 40%
Official apprenticeship achievement rate published by the DfE. The single biggest factor, because completing is what an apprenticeship is for.
Satisfaction — 25%
Employer and apprentice feedback ratings, published by the DfE on the Find Apprenticeship Training service.
Scale and volume — 20%
Total learner volume. A strong rate across thousands of apprentices is stronger evidence than the same rate across a handful.
Specialist depth — 15%
Learner-to-standard ratio. Providers concentrating on fewer standards with more learners in each score higher.
Scored out of 100 and published monthly, dated so a score can be cited. Nothing a provider does with FATP affects it: we removed a responsiveness factor in August 2026 precisely because engaging with us should never move a provider up. No provider can pay to appear or move up, ever.
