Train with Pride

Train with Pride is a specialist training provider delivering high-quality hairdressing and barbering apprenticeships across the South West and beyond. The organisation focuses on Hair Professional Level 2 and 3 apprenticeships and Barbering Professional Level 2 apprenticeships, working closely with partner salons and barber shops so training is delivered in real salon and barbershop environments. Their educators are active industry professionals, which is intended to keep training aligned with current trends and salon practices. Programmes are tailored to individual business needs, with the provider working as part of the employer’s team to support apprentice development and customer service skills. Train with Pride also offers a specialist freelance apprenticeship scheme, in partnership with The South West Apprenticeship Company, designed for shared-space salons and barbers who do not want the administrative responsibilities of direct employment. In addition to apprenticeships, they provide Level 3 courses in hairdressing and barbering for industry professionals who have not yet achieved an advanced certificate, as well as bespoke upskilling courses for experienced stylists and barbers, including focused barbering courses such as wet shaving and skin-fade training. Courses can be fully funded for eligible learners or self-funded with an industry placement.
