Riverside College

Riverside College is a further education provider in Widnes offering a wide range of apprenticeship and vocational training options for both new entrants and existing employees. Its specialist apprenticeship team works in partnership with national and local employers across the North West to support workforce development and create progression routes for over 500 apprentices and more than 700 employers. Apprenticeship training is delivered by industry-qualified staff using state-of-the-art, industry-standard facilities, and the college reports 99% customer satisfaction and a 78% apprenticeship success rate. Programmes span multiple sectors, including accounts, business and management, construction and digital, with apprenticeships available from Level 2 through higher levels. Riverside College provides a full service for employers, including recruitment support, vacancy advertising, assessment of candidates, and ongoing support throughout the apprenticeship. In addition to apprenticeships, the college offers 16–18 courses, adult (19+) provision, higher education courses, remote e-learning and workforce development services, supported by advice, careers and employability teams and a range of on-campus specialist facilities.
