London Design & Engineering UTC

About
London Design & Engineering UTC
London Design & Engineering UTC is a specialist technical college located in the Royal Docks, London, offering an employer-led curriculum focused on engineering, construction, design and digital technologies. The UTC delivers programmes for learners from age 13 to 19, with clear pathways at 13+ and 16+ and a strong emphasis on progression to university, higher and degree apprenticeships, or employment. Its vision is to provide technology- and employer-led education that enables learners to exceed their potential, celebrate diversity and embrace the opportunities of the fourth industrial revolution. The college is shaped by six core values, including continual improvement, respect, care, ownership and pride, which underpin teaching, support and professional conduct. Apprenticeship provision is delivered through the Engineering Skills College, which is part of London Design & Engineering UTC and focuses on level 3 and 4 apprenticeships in construction, design and engineering standards. The UTC works closely with a wide range of employer partners and a university sponsor, aligning its programmes and apprenticeships with real industry needs and labour market information to help employers develop work-ready talent and provide learners with clear, skills-based routes into technical careers.
Apprenticeships Offered:
Apprenticeship standards detail what an apprentice will be doing in their day-to-day job role.
Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
Listed here are the apprenticeship standards this training provider offers training for.
