About
Xavier Catholic Education Trust
Xavier Catholic Education Trust is a group of Catholic schools in Surrey that works together to provide high-quality education and professional development across its family of schools. The Trust’s central services support schools with governance, strategic leadership and operational functions so that leaders and teachers can focus on delivering exceptional learning experiences for children. Through the Xavier Teaching School Hub, based in Chertsey, the Trust offers a wide range of teacher and leader development programmes. These include school‑led Initial Teacher Training (ITT) for primary and secondary trainees, Early Career Framework (ECF) programmes with Appropriate Body services for Early Career Teachers and their mentors, and evidence-based professional development at every career stage. The hub also delivers the full suite of National Professional Qualifications (NPQs), which are fully funded by the Department for Education, and provides consultancy and training support to schools across a wide geographic area. Xavier Teach SouthEast, part of the Xavier offer, focuses on growing great primary and secondary teachers through high-quality training and bespoke school placements across regional hubs in Surrey, Sussex, London and Berkshire. Collectively, these provisions enable schools and individuals to access structured pathways into teaching and ongoing development to support recruitment, retention and educational excellence.(xaviercet.org.uk)(tshub.xaviercet.org.uk)(teachsoutheast.co.uk)
