Xact

Xact is a specialist provider of fire safety and fire engineering training, apprenticeships and qualifications aimed at enhancing the competence of fire safety professionals. The organisation delivers Level 3 Fire Safety Advisor and Level 4 Fire Safety Inspector apprenticeships, which combine nationally recognised qualifications, guided distance learning, tutor-led classrooms, virtual delivery and workplace skills development. Apprentices are supported by experienced mentors and subject tutors, and progress is monitored against individual learning plans to prepare for end-point assessment. Xact’s apprenticeship programmes are aligned to current apprenticeship standards, include Ofqual-regulated qualifications and draw on National Occupational Standards relevant to fire safety roles. Alongside apprenticeships, Xact offers a wide portfolio of fire safety courses and qualifications at Levels 2–5 for regulators, building control professionals, fire risk assessors, designers, sprinkler professionals and those responsible for fire safety in a wide range of premises. Courses are delivered via in-house, open and Interactive Virtual Classroom formats, with all programmes designed to meet awarding body and Ofqual requirements and supported by technical guidance, British Standards and sector best practice.
