Wirral Met College

Wirral Met College is a large further and higher education college supporting over 10,000 students each year with courses from entry level through to degree level. The college offers a wide range of apprenticeships that enable learners to work, gain qualifications and valuable experience while earning a salary, including higher apprenticeships. Employers can access dedicated employer services and use the course explorer to identify apprenticeship programmes that help recruit and develop their workforce. In addition to apprenticeships, Wirral Met delivers full-time and part-time programmes for 16–18 year olds and adults, university-level courses accredited by partner universities, CPD courses and community education. Training spans multiple vocational areas such as construction and the built environment, engineering and automotive, health and social care, hospitality and culinary arts, computing and IT, hairdressing and beauty therapy, public and uniformed services, sports and fitness, animal management and more. The college provides strong student support, including financial guidance, careers education and learning support, and operates across several campuses with specialist facilities designed to prepare learners for jobs, apprenticeships and university progression.
