Vision West Nottinghamshire College, often referred to as West Notts College, provides education and training to almost 11,000 full- and part-time students each year, including around 1,400 apprentices. Its apprenticeship and wider skills offer spans all major industry sectors from entry level through to level 5, giving both employers and learners access to vocational pathways aligned to workforce needs. The college has recently completed a £50 million campus redevelopment, creating new buildings and state-of-the-art facilities equipped with industry-standard technology to help learners develop job-ready skills. Training is delivered across multiple campuses in Mansfield and Ashfield, with courses designed in partnership with employers and supported by a strong careers and student support infrastructure. West Notts also offers a broad range of adult learning and skills courses, university-level provision, and specialist facilities such as a student-led restaurant and commercial services. The college emphasises high-quality teaching, strong learner support and clear progression routes, aiming to help individuals of all ages achieve their goals and employers upskill their teams for current and future skills demands.
