WEBS Training is an independent apprenticeship and skills provider based in Beeston, Nottingham, with over 50 years’ experience supporting the furniture manufacturing sector and related industries. Originally established to address skills shortages in furniture manufacturing, it now delivers a broader apprenticeship and training offer that includes business services roles such as administration, warehousing, customer service, trade supplier, team leader/supervisor and learning mentor. WEBS provides a one‑stop service for both levy-paying and small to medium employers across all sectors, delivering training at its dedicated Beeston training centre and on employer premises across England. Apprenticeship programmes are designed in close collaboration with employers to meet industry standards and workplace needs, and are delivered by trainers with extensive industrial experience. WEBS was graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted in March 2017 and reports apprenticeship achievement rates above national averages. Its mission is to deliver high-quality, industry-standard training that is progressive and responsive to the needs of employers and apprentices, aiming to be the provider of choice for furniture manufacturing and allied industries by developing the skills and behaviours required to meet high industry standards.
