Training Trust

Training Trust, formally known as Waltham Forest Chamber of Commerce Training Trust, is a registered charity and apprenticeship training provider based in Woodford Green, Essex. It has delivered apprenticeships and vocational training to young people and adults since 1983, working with employers in North East London, all London boroughs and surrounding counties to create employment opportunities and upskill existing staff. The organisation offers a varied selection of apprenticeships, including work-based programmes where apprentices typically spend four days a week with their employer and one day in off‑the‑job technical training at college; some programmes are delivered via block-release. Apprenticeships range from intermediate to higher levels and combine technical and practical workplace training, supported by tutors and dedicated liaison officers who monitor progress through regular workplace visits. Training Trust emphasises a safe, supportive learning environment, aims to improve employability skills, and works in partnership with employers and other education providers to meet workforce development needs. The provider also signposts additional training and information, advice and guidance to help individuals choose the right career path and support employers in developing and upskilling their workforce.
