The University of Strathclyde is an international technological university that delivers a broad portfolio of apprenticeship training for employers and employees across Scotland and England. Strathclyde is a leading provider of Graduate Apprenticeships and Degree Apprenticeships, combining academic study with structured work-based learning so apprentices can earn while they learn and apply new knowledge directly in the workplace. Programmes are designed in partnership with industry and are aligned with the skills employers need, with options across areas such as cyber security, IT (including software development and management for business), civil engineering, design and manufacture, business management, digital and technology solutions, medical statistics and systems thinking. Many programmes are accredited by relevant professional bodies and are fully funded through national apprenticeship funding mechanisms, providing a cost‑effective workforce development route for organisations. The university also delivers Modern Apprenticeships in disciplines including business and administration, engineering, digital applications/support, horticulture, hospitality and life sciences, incorporating SVQs, core skills and industry-specific training.
