About
University of Gloucestershire
University of Gloucestershire delivers a wide range of higher and degree apprenticeships designed for employers seeking to develop their workforce and for employees wishing to gain qualifications while working. Apprentices must be employed for at least 30 hours per week, and programmes combine workplace learning with structured off‑the‑job training such as university-based teaching, mentoring, and professional development activities. The university offers apprenticeship pathways from Level 4 up to Level 7 (Master’s level), enabling progression from early-career to senior professional roles. Current apprenticeship provision spans business (including Chartered Manager, Facilities Manager, Hospitality Manager and Senior Leader), computing and cyber (including Cyber Security, Data Analyst, Network Engineer and Software Engineer), and health, social care and education (including Academic Professional and other sector-specific routes). Apprenticeships are funded through the Apprenticeship Levy and other government mechanisms, with guidance available for employers on eligibility, funding and programme design. Beyond apprenticeships, the University of Gloucestershire also offers undergraduate, postgraduate and online degrees, professional courses and short courses for individuals and businesses seeking flexible upskilling options.
Apprenticeships Offered:
Apprenticeship standards detail what an apprentice will be doing in their day-to-day job role.
Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
Listed here are the apprenticeship standards this training provider offers training for.
