About
University of Cambridge
The University of Cambridge delivers apprenticeships primarily for employees working within the University and partner organisations, combining work-based learning with structured academic study. Through its Institute of Continuing Education, Cambridge offers postgraduate Level 7 degree apprenticeships that blend formal off‑the‑job training at the University with on‑the‑job development in the apprentice’s workplace, leading to University of Cambridge postgraduate qualifications. These programmes are designed around industry occupational standards and delivered via intensive teaching blocks, drawing on leading academics, experienced professionals and researchers. Apprentices benefit from government and employer-funded tuition, access to the University’s research resources, and learning that is directly embedded in their role. Employers can use the apprenticeship levy to upskill existing staff or develop new talent, with apprenticeships available from entry levels up to master’s level across a range of professional fields. The University’s central Apprenticeships Team supports departments and external employers with programme selection, funding, and onboarding, and provides guidance on end point assessment and ongoing apprentice support. For individuals, apprenticeships provide a paid route to nationally recognised qualifications and enhanced career progression while remaining in employment.
Apprenticeships Offered:
Apprenticeship standards detail what an apprentice will be doing in their day-to-day job role.
Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
Listed here are the apprenticeship standards this training provider offers training for.
