Universal Skills Group is a specialist energy-sector training provider offering apprenticeships and technical courses in electrical, gas, renewables and smart metering. Their apprenticeship provision includes a Level 2 Dual Fuel Smart Metering Installer programme, through which they help employers recruit and train new apprentices for roles in the smart metering industry. They support both complete beginners and experienced installers, and work with some of the largest UK energy companies to upskill their workforce for the transition to renewable energy, electric vehicles and smart home systems. Their stated mission is to prepare the UK’s energy workforce for the future by equipping individuals and teams with the skills and qualifications needed to build a greener UK.
