Unitas is a specialist distance learning provider focused on youth justice and criminal justice education, offering flexible online programmes designed to fit around work and personal commitments. The organisation delivers nationally recognised youth justice qualifications and criminal justice courses, written by leading academics and practitioners, for those working with or aspiring to work with children and adults in the justice system. Its provision includes CPD and short courses such as validated Effective Practice Awards (EPAs), youth justice courses, and higher education pathways in youth justice and criminology. Learners can progress from foundation-level study through to full BA (Hons) degrees in Youth Justice and in Crime, Criminology and Criminal Justice, as well as an MA in Youth Justice, all delivered via distance learning and validated by the University of Suffolk. Unitas highlights having taught over 4,000 students since 2012 and emphasises evidence-based, practice-oriented learning that supports workforce development in justice services.
