Truro & Penwith College

About
Truro & Penwith College
Truro & Penwith College is a further and higher education college offering a broad apprenticeship and training portfolio across Cornwall and into Devon. The College delivers over 30 apprenticeship programmes in more than 30 career pathways, including business, marketing, computing and IT, nursing, engineering, construction, automotive, hospitality, hair and beauty and more, with training delivered across its Truro, Penwith and Bodmin campuses. Apprentices typically spend around 80% of their time learning in the workplace and 20% at college, supported by specialist tutors and a dedicated Training Advisor who works with both the apprentice and employer on role development and assessment. Apprenticeships are available from entry level (Level 2 and Level 3) through to higher and degree-level (Levels 4–6), and are open to new recruits and existing staff of any age, enabling both recruitment and upskilling. For employers, the College positions apprenticeships as a cost-effective training solution, with access to government funding and levy support, and designs programmes in partnership with local employers to align with current and future skills needs. In addition to apprenticeships, Truro & Penwith College offers A Levels, T Levels, vocational diplomas, university-level courses, skills bootcamps, and a wide range of adult professional and personal development courses.
Apprenticeships Offered:
Apprenticeship standards detail what an apprentice will be doing in their day-to-day job role.
Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
Listed here are the apprenticeship standards this training provider offers training for.
