Trans Plant Mastertrain is a professional training company that delivers a wide range of practical and theoretical courses to support the logistics, transport and related industries. Founded in 1992, the organisation provides LGV and HGV lorry driver training, including C1 (7.5t), rigid and articulated vehicles, alongside car and trailer (B+E) training, lorry loader (HIAB) and mobile plant courses. Their provision also covers forklift truck training, construction plant training, ADR (dangerous goods) and Driver CPC training, as well as first aid and management training. Based at the Exeter Livestock Centre in Marsh Barton, they offer an extensive off-road training facility and conduct training on local test routes. Trans Plant Mastertrain is listed on the Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers and offers a variety of apprenticeships, including driving goods vehicles, customer service, warehousing and team leadership. Training can be delivered at their dedicated centre or, for some courses such as forklift truck training, at customers’ premises, serving employers and individual trainees across Exeter, Devon and the wider South West of England.
Apprenticeships Offered:
Apprenticeship standards detail what an apprentice will be doing in their day-to-day job role.
Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
Listed here are the apprenticeship standards this training provider offers training for.
