About
University of Leeds
The University of Leeds is an approved provider on the Apprenticeship Provider and Assessment Register, delivering higher and degree apprenticeships from Levels 5 to 7 that combine paid employment with university study. Apprenticeships are mapped to national occupational standards and most programmes are integrated with a University of Leeds degree, with a minimum duration of 12 months and structured end point assessment to confirm occupational competence. The university works with levy-paying and non-levy-paying employers, who fund training through the UK Apprenticeship Scheme or government co‑investment, and supports both upskilling existing staff and recruiting new talent. Current apprenticeship provision includes programmes in leadership and management (such as Chartered Manager and Executive Leadership), healthcare (including Nursing Associate, Healthcare Assistant Practitioner and Advanced Clinical Practice), and digital technology (for example the BSc Computer Science – Digital & Technology Solutions apprenticeship for PwC employees). Apprentices typically work at least 30 hours per week, with a minimum of six hours weekly off‑the‑job training delivered through blended learning, workplace mentoring and structured academic support, including a personal tutor and regular progress reviews. The University of Leeds also offers broader professional and career support through its Lifelong Learning Centre and Careers Centre to help apprentices apply their learning in the workplace and progress in their careers.
Apprenticeships Offered:
Apprenticeship standards detail what an apprentice will be doing in their day-to-day job role.
Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
Listed here are the apprenticeship standards this training provider offers training for.
