About
University of East Anglia
The University of East Anglia (UEA) delivers apprenticeship training alongside its wider higher education offer, with provision developed and managed through its Academic Partnerships and Apprenticeships teams. UEA provides degree apprenticeship routes in areas such as health and clinical psychology, including a Master of Science Clinical Associate in Psychology Degree Apprenticeship, which launched in December 2021 and is delivered in close collaboration with NHS partners to meet regional workforce needs. Apprenticeships at UEA are designed to combine academic study with work-based learning, enabling apprentices to develop high-level professional skills while remaining in employment. The university’s apprenticeships activity is supported by specialist roles, including an Associate Dean Apprenticeships and dedicated teams for business engagement, who work with partner organisations to source opportunities and expand apprenticeship provision. Wider student support structures, such as the UEA Careers Service, also engage employers to create apprenticeship and placement opportunities integrated into curricula. UEA’s admissions policies signpost separate arrangements for degree apprenticeships, supported by dedicated apprenticeships webpages and guidance for apprenticeship providers. This integrated approach allows employers to access university-level training that aligns with professional standards, while apprentices benefit from UEA’s teaching, research environment and links with external partners.
Apprenticeships Offered:
Apprenticeship standards detail what an apprentice will be doing in their day-to-day job role.
Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
Listed here are the apprenticeship standards this training provider offers training for.
