About
University of Chichester
The University of Chichester is a registered provider of higher and degree apprenticeships, enabling apprentices from a broad range of backgrounds to combine paid employment with university-level study. Apprentices are employed full time or part time by an organisation and attend the University on a day-release or part-time basis, typically one day per week, while completing foundation, undergraduate or master’s-level programmes over two to four years. Tuition fees are paid by the employer and/or the government, so apprentices graduate without tuition fee debt while receiving a salary and access to normal employee benefits. The University currently supports over 200 apprentices from more than 120 employers and offers apprenticeships in subject areas such as business and leadership, digital, engineering, social work and teaching. Programmes include role-focused degree apprenticeships such as Digital Marketer, Data Scientist, Manufacturing Engineer, Electrical and Electronic Technical Support Engineer, Senior Leader and Accounting Finance Manager, among others. Apprentices benefit from small-group teaching, access to extensive library resources, and curricula designed to integrate academic learning with work-based projects directly relevant to their organisation’s needs. Employers can use these programmes both to upskill existing staff and to recruit new talent, with structured off‑the‑job training making a positive contribution to workplace performance.
Apprenticeships Offered:
Apprenticeship standards detail what an apprentice will be doing in their day-to-day job role.
Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
Listed here are the apprenticeship standards this training provider offers training for.
