About
University of Bradford
The University of Bradford offers Higher and Degree Apprenticeships designed to develop employees to undergraduate and postgraduate degree level while they remain in paid employment. Its degree apprenticeships combine university-based education with structured on‑the‑job training, enabling apprentices to gain academic qualifications and workplace experience simultaneously. Programmes are developed with employers and aligned to industry needs, and can be delivered in teaching blocks, as flexible learning or via distance learning on some programmes. The University works in partnership with a wide range of organisations, including large employers such as Morrisons and the NHS, and can either place employees on existing degree apprenticeship courses or design bespoke programmes for specific business requirements. Apprenticeship training is funded through the Education and Skills Funding Agency, with options for levy-paying and non‑levy employers, including co‑investment and enhanced support for smaller employers. The University states that its apprenticeship provision is planned to be delivered in‑house, with limited subcontracting only for placement learning and Functional Skills in Maths and English, and all subcontracted delivery is quality assured under its ESFA-funded subcontracting policy. Beyond apprenticeships, the University delivers a broad portfolio of undergraduate, postgraduate and continuing professional development (CPD) courses across multiple disciplines, alongside careers and employability services that support skills development for students, graduates and employer partners.
Apprenticeships Offered:
Apprenticeship standards detail what an apprentice will be doing in their day-to-day job role.
Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
Listed here are the apprenticeship standards this training provider offers training for.
