The Training Place of Excellence

The Training Place of Excellence is a non‑profit organisation that provides accredited vocational training and apprenticeships with a focus on accountancy and health and social care. From its centres in New Cross, London, and Gillingham, Kent, it delivers accounting, healthcare and other specialist courses, supported by practical work experience to consolidate classroom learning. Apprenticeships are offered as work‑based study programmes lasting at least one year, during which learners are placed into employment while working towards recognised qualifications in Accounting, Business Administration, Customer Services or Healthcare Support. The provider highlights benefits such as earning while learning, avoiding university debt, and part‑time study alongside work. For adult learners, it offers a range of accounting and related programmes including ACA, ACCA, AAT, Sage, Xero and short accounting courses, as well as health and social care, tailored learning, CV and interviewing workshops, and online/distance learning options. Learners can also access up to 18 months of work placement in an accounting firm, references on completion, and free after‑training support. The organisation works directly with employers, helping them recruit apprentices and match candidates to roles through dedicated employer applications and apprenticeship job listings.
