About
Trafford College
Trafford College is part of The Trafford & Stockport College Group and offers a wide range of technical and professional education routes, including apprenticeships, for school leavers and adults. For school leavers, the college provides vocational and technical qualifications such as T Levels and apprenticeships alongside academic routes like A Levels and GCSEs, helping learners progress into employment or higher study. Apprentices benefit from industry-standard facilities, expert tutors and the opportunity to gain industry knowledge and skills on the job while working towards a nationally recognised qualification, with support from employers and workplace mentors. The college works with hundreds of local and regional employers to align its education and training with current and future skills needs, and positions apprenticeships as a way to earn a salary, gain paid holiday and build long-term career potential. In addition to apprenticeships, Trafford College delivers adult courses, professional qualifications, and higher education programmes through its University Centre, as well as specialist training via centres such as ACS & AM2, the Airport Academy, the Skills Shop and the Green Skills Hub. This combination enables employers to upskill their workforce and individuals to develop new skills at different stages of their careers.
Apprenticeships Offered:
Apprenticeship standards detail what an apprentice will be doing in their day-to-day job role.
Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
Listed here are the apprenticeship standards this training provider offers training for.
