About
The Skills Centre
The Skills Centre is a UK-wide construction training provider offering apprenticeship programmes and workforce development from entry level up to NVQ Level 7. Its apprenticeship offer focuses on specialist construction roles including formwork, groundwork, steel fixing, highways maintenance and interior systems/dry lining, delivered through managed apprenticeship services that help employers maximise their investment and build a pipeline of future talent across London, the West Midlands, Northampton and other regions. Alongside apprenticeships, The Skills Centre delivers a broad range of construction-related training such as pre-employment courses, specialist skills bootcamps, CSCS training, NVQs, short courses, eSkills online training, early career mentoring, functional skills and job-focused employability support. Training is delivered through dedicated centres and on live construction sites, with facilities across London, the West Midlands, Northampton, the south east and additional UK locations. The organisation works with local communities, employers and funding partners to address skills shortages, support local recruitment and provide sustainable employment and progression opportunities. To date, it reports having delivered construction training to tens of thousands of learners, created hundreds of apprenticeships and supported significant workforce upskilling.
Apprenticeships Offered:
Apprenticeship standards detail what an apprentice will be doing in their day-to-day job role.
Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
Listed here are the apprenticeship standards this training provider offers training for.
