About
RACPD – Royal Artillery Centre for Personal Development
RACPD (Royal Artillery Centre for Personal Development) is a specialist training provider delivering nationally recognised civilian qualifications to the military and wider Defence community, including soldiers, reservists, spouses, partners and veterans. Based at Royal Artillery Barracks, Larkhill, RACPD supports learners at all stages of their military careers, from early recruit and trade training through to resettlement and preparation for a second career. The organisation offers a wide range of training and qualifications, including apprenticeships (such as Express Delivery Operative with embedded Functional Skills), teacher education and training programmes, leadership and management courses (e.g. ILM Team Leading), health and safety qualifications (including IOSH and NEBOSH pathways), security and door supervision, and business administration and other distance learning programmes delivered online. Many courses are designed to fit around military duties, with provision delivered on-site in Royal Artillery regiments across the UK or via virtual learning platforms such as Zoom and online learning environments. RACPD’s aim is to provide outstanding personal and professional development that enhances career prospects during service and supports progression into civilian employment, enabling ‘brighter futures’ for soldiers and their families. Apprenticeships Offered:
Apprenticeship standards detail what an apprentice will be doing in their day-to-day job role.
Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
Listed here are the apprenticeship standards this training provider offers training for.
