TKAT (The Kemnal Academies Trust)

The Kemnal Academies Trust (TKAT) is a large multi-academy trust operating across the South and East of England, with over 45–46 primary, secondary, special and all-through academies in its network. TKAT’s core purpose is to raise educational standards by providing high-quality teaching, leadership and learning for all pupils. The trust emphasises collaboration across its schools, promoting school-to-school support where leaders and staff regularly share knowledge, insight and experience to improve pupil progress and attainment. TKAT describes itself as a community of schools – the “#oneTKATfamily” – with a strong focus on shared purpose, mutual support and continuous professional development for staff. It offers extensive ongoing CPD, career development and promotion opportunities across the trust, aiming to build a people-first culture where colleagues feel valued and supported. All academies within TKAT are supported by central services based at the Atkins Centre in Sidcup, Kent, which coordinate trust-wide improvement and support activity.
