About
Tendring District Council
Tendring District Council delivers apprenticeship training through its Career Track service, working with public and private sector employers across Essex, Suffolk, Kent and some London boroughs to provide work‑based learning. Its apprenticeship offer focuses on business support and customer-facing roles, including Customer Service Practitioner (Level 2), Customer Service Specialist (Level 3), Business Administrator (Level 3) and Public Service Operational Delivery Officer (Level 3). Each standard combines on-the-job experience with off-the-job training and functional skills in English and maths where required, and delivery takes place in the workplace via an assessor or coach using a mix of assessing, coaching, training and mentoring. Programme durations typically range from around 12 to 21 months plus an additional period for end-point assessment, with prior learning taken into account. Tendring District Council highlights that apprentices can start at any time, and its delivery team works directly with apprentices and employers to provide a flexible curriculum aligned to job roles. The council also promotes apprenticeships more widely through initiatives such as the Tendring 100 Apprenticeships project and signposting employers to guidance on recruiting and employing apprentices, supporting skills development and progression for local residents and workforces.
Apprenticeships Offered:
Apprenticeship standards detail what an apprentice will be doing in their day-to-day job role.
Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
Listed here are the apprenticeship standards this training provider offers training for.
