South Thames Colleges Group (STCG) delivers apprenticeship training and wider further education across four colleges: South Thames College, Kingston College, Carshalton College and Merton College. Based in south west London, the group offers apprenticeship programmes at Levels 2–6 in areas such as accounting and finance, business administration and management, data analysis and digital product management, engineering and construction trades, plumbing, electrical installation, laboratory science, motor vehicle, and people practice. Apprenticeships are delivered in partnership with employers and are designed to develop occupationally specific skills while learners are in paid employment, with provision available both for new recruits and existing staff. Alongside apprenticeships, STCG offers full-time courses for school leavers, adult training for work, higher education and Access to HE, adult short courses, ESOL/EFL, foundation learning/SEND and distance learning, giving employers options to upskill their workforce through different study routes. Teaching takes place in specialist, work‑related facilities located across campuses including Wandsworth and Tooting, with programmes aligned to local and regional skills needs in sectors such as construction, engineering, health and social care, digital, hospitality and more. The group also provides dedicated employer engagement via its “Employers” and “Training for Work” offer, enabling organisations to discuss tailored training and workforce development solutions.
