South Bank Colleges
South Bank Colleges is part of the LSBU Group and comprises Lambeth College and London South Bank Technical College. The colleges deliver a wide range of professional and technical education designed to prepare learners to be work-ready and confident in today’s job market. Apprenticeships are a key strand of their offer, with programmes at Levels 2–5 in areas such as construction trades, engineering and mechatronics, dental nursing and dental technology, early years, business administration, surveying, team leading and low carbon heating. Apprentices follow individual training plans agreed with their employer, with South Bank Colleges providing study support plus information, advice and guidance on educational, career and personal matters. The apprenticeship offer is updated throughout the year and supported by dedicated resources such as an Apprenticeship Welcome Pack. Alongside apprenticeships, the colleges offer further and higher education courses including BTECs, T Levels, Level 4 technical courses, English and maths, ESOL and sector-focused programmes in health and social care, science, games design, digital media, IT, hospitality and sport. South Bank Colleges was graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted in March 2025, and its strategy focuses on transforming lives, communities, businesses and society through applied education and insight.
Apprenticeships Offered:
Apprenticeship standards detail what an apprentice will be doing in their day-to-day job role.
Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
Listed here are the apprenticeship standards this training provider offers training for.
