Solutions 4 Polymers Limited (S4PL), founded in 2009, is a specialist provider of polymer processing apprenticeships. They focus on Level 3 programmes such as the Polymer Processing Technician and Science Manufacturing Technician standards, which they have been successfully delivering since 2017. Training is delivered nationwide in the workplace, enabling apprentices to develop skills directly in an operational production environment aligned to employer needs. S4PL’s programmes are led by a team of qualified trainers and assessors with extensive hands-on industrial experience in the polymer sector. Before each apprenticeship starts, S4PL works with employers to agree what training will be delivered, when it will take place, and how it will be structured so that it is fit for purpose and supports business requirements. The provider has also previously operated as a subcontractor to the College of West Anglia, contributing to a ‘Good’ Ofsted inspection outcome. This sector-specific focus and workplace delivery model are designed to support both new entrants and existing staff looking to upskill in polymer processing and related manufacturing roles.
