Skern Training & Skills is an apprenticeship and corporate training provider offering tailored programmes that align with each employer’s culture, mission, vision and values. As an approved main apprenticeship provider, they design, manage and deliver end‑to‑end apprenticeships across a number of standards, including agriculture, early years, leadership and management, outdoor education and hospitality. They support both employers and employees by creating apprenticeships that integrate seamlessly into the workplace, helping apprentices develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required while enabling organisations to make effective use of their apprenticeship levy. In addition to apprenticeships, Skern Training & Skills delivers a wide range of qualifications and skills courses, such as British Canoeing courses, first aid, lifeguard qualifications, mountain training, RYA powerboat courses, safeguarding, vocational assessment awards and ILM programmes. Their approach is consultative: they take time to understand business needs, design bespoke programmes and handle the administrative requirements, including setting up digital accounts and loading apprentices onto training.
