About
Shrewsbury College
Shrewsbury College, part of Shrewsbury Colleges Group, offers one of the largest and most flexible further education curriculums in Shropshire, including A Levels, vocational diplomas, T Levels, apprenticeships and higher education qualifications. Apprenticeships are promoted for both school leavers and adults already in work, with day-release training delivered at the London Road campus while apprentices spend the rest of the week with their employer. The college supports employers with apprenticeship recruitment services, guidance for those considering taking on an apprentice, and information on funding opportunities and employer partnerships. Training is available across multiple sectors, with provision designed around what local businesses and sole traders say they need. Alongside apprenticeships, the college provides part-time professional qualifications and hobby courses for adults, university-level courses structured over one to three days per week to fit around work and family commitments, and extensive careers advice to help learners progress to university, apprenticeships or employment. Shrewsbury College operates across three campuses with subject-specific facilities, and highlights strong academic outcomes and an Ofsted outstanding grade as part of its offer to learners and employers.
Apprenticeships Offered:
Apprenticeship standards detail what an apprentice will be doing in their day-to-day job role.
Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
Listed here are the apprenticeship standards this training provider offers training for.
