Serco

About
Serco
Serco offers a wide range of apprenticeship programmes in the UK designed to enable people to earn while they learn in real jobs with nationally recognised qualifications. Apprenticeships are open to new entrants and existing employees aged 16 and over who meet the academic entry requirements, with programmes typically lasting between one and four years depending on level and individual needs. Serco delivers structured, blended learning, combining on‑the‑job training with off‑the‑job development supported by a dedicated apprenticeships team and external specialist training partners where appropriate. Current pathways highlighted include Business Administrator Level 3, Aeronautical Engineer (Aircraft Maintenance Fitter/Technician) Level 3, Information Communications Technician Level 3 and other core programmes across business support, engineering, IT and operational roles. Apprentices gain practical skills such as using multiple IT systems, producing accurate documentation, understanding engineering and maintenance practices, and delivering high‑quality customer and technical support. Serco funds the training, provides a salary at least in line with apprentice minimum wage, and offers standard company benefits. The organisation also supports employers through wider skills and employability services, including upskilling, reskilling, skills bootcamps and recruitment solutions delivered via its Skills and Employability business in England and Wales.
Apprenticeships Offered:
Apprenticeship standards detail what an apprentice will be doing in their day-to-day job role.
Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
Listed here are the apprenticeship standards this training provider offers training for.
