Salt Training Limited is a specialist construction training provider based in Herne Bay, East Kent. Incorporated in September 2023, the organisation focuses on flexible, high‑quality construction training for adults, delivered by industry‑specialist trainers with extensive experience in both construction and education. Salt Training offers accredited qualifications from beginner to advanced level, supporting individuals who are seeking to gain employment in the construction industry, develop their skills, or obtain formal accreditation for existing experience. The provider delivers construction apprenticeships and wider workforce development across East Kent, partnering with employers to co-design programmes that meet real workforce needs and ensure apprentices are job-ready from day one. Apprenticeship standards offered include Bricklayer (Level 2 and 3), Carpentry & Joinery (Level 2), Plasterer (Level 2 and 3), Domestic Electrician (Level 3), Groundworker (Level 2), Plumbing & Domestic Heating Technician (Level 3), Property Maintenance Operative (Level 2) and Wall & Floor Tiler (Level 2). In addition to apprenticeships, Salt Training delivers a range of construction and related programmes such as bricklaying, plastering, multi-trade and property development, wall and floor tiling, NVQ qualifications, CSCS labourer card training, teacher training qualifications, and assessor and verifier qualifications, within industry-specific workshops designed to build practical, work-ready skills.
