Runshaw College

Runshaw College is a further and higher education college offering a dedicated apprenticeship provision alongside full-time and adult programmes. Through its Apprenticeships @ Runshaw offer, the college works with hundreds of partner employers across a variety of sectors and promotes apprenticeships as a structured route into work that combines on-the-job training, formal qualifications and a salary. Apprenticeships are available in areas such as accounting, human resources, leadership and management, childcare and business, with information, application routes and vacancy listings provided online. The college supports both new entrants and existing staff looking to upskill, with a focus on helping learners become ‘future ready’ through employer-led training and progression opportunities. In addition to apprenticeships, Runshaw operates a broad curriculum for school leavers (16–18) and adults, including vocational and academic courses and flexible adult (19+) provision delivered at times designed to fit around work and other commitments. Employers and prospective apprentices can access advice via a dedicated apprenticeships phone line and email, and the college hosts apprenticeship events and provides guidance on hiring an apprentice and available support.
