About
Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust
Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is a large teaching trust with a significant role in educating the current and future NHS workforce. The trust is an approved main provider of apprenticeships and is rated “good” by Ofsted for its apprenticeship provision. It supports more than 100 apprenticeships annually across over 25 areas, including healthcare support, sterile services, mammography, accountancy and business administration, offering both professional development routes for existing staff and entry pathways for new starters. The trust delivers in‑house healthcare support worker apprenticeships and, as a main provider on the Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers, can also deliver apprenticeships on behalf of external NHS and primary care organisations. Apprenticeships range from level 2 to level 7 and are fully funded through the apprenticeship levy, with work‑based training, protected study time and end‑point assessment leading to nationally recognised qualifications. Alongside apprenticeships, the Royal Free London provides extensive undergraduate and postgraduate medical education, nursing and midwifery placements, and a wide range of clinical and non‑clinical training and continuing professional development for more than 11,000 staff across its hospitals and services.
Apprenticeships Offered:
Apprenticeship standards detail what an apprentice will be doing in their day-to-day job role.
Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
Listed here are the apprenticeship standards this training provider offers training for.
