Royal Borough of Greenwich

About
Royal Borough of Greenwich
Royal Borough of Greenwich delivers a broad apprenticeship and training offer aimed at both individuals and employers, with a particular emphasis on roles in schools and the wider local economy. Through its ApprenticeshipsPLUS schools’ training programme, the council co-designs apprenticeships with schools and accredited delivery partners to meet current and future skills needs, offering education, early years and business pathways from Level 2 to Level 6. Programmes include Customer Service Practitioner, Business Administrator, Early Years Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Community Activator Coach and General or Specialist Teaching Assistant, as well as a Level 6 Post Graduate Teaching apprenticeship. Apprentices typically work 4 days in the workplace and have 1 day of off‑the‑job training, with programmes usually lasting 13 to 24 months before end-point assessment. The council also promotes apprenticeships and traineeships for residents over 16, and provides wider employment and skills support through Greenwich Local Labour and Business (GLLaB), including help with finding and applying for apprenticeships, CV preparation and interview support. In addition, Royal Borough of Greenwich offers training for adult learners, over‑16s, community groups, volunteers and businesses via its broader training and apprenticeships offer.
Apprenticeships Offered:
Apprenticeship standards detail what an apprentice will be doing in their day-to-day job role.
Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
Listed here are the apprenticeship standards this training provider offers training for.
