About
Bosch
Bosch offers an industry-led Automotive Apprenticeship Programme designed to develop Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technicians (Light Vehicle) to Level 3. The three‑year programme is delivered through 17 blocks of high-quality, engaging training at Bosch Service Training Centres, preceded by interactive webinars that prepare apprentices for each training block. Apprentices are employed and earn while they learn at carefully selected local independent workshops, gaining hands-on experience with a wide range of vehicle brands and systems. Training includes the use of Bosch diagnostic tools, electric vehicle technology, and diagnosis and repair of modern automotive systems, with a strong emphasis on future-focused skills. Successful apprentices achieve a Level 3 Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician apprenticeship standard or Level 3 framework (depending on UK country), Level 2 English and Maths (or equivalent) where required, plus F Gas Refrigerant Handling certification and four Bosch Diagnostic Technician courses. Bosch provides regular progress reviews, strong welfare support during residential training, and guidance for both apprentices and employers. The apprenticeship programme is funded with support from UK government bodies and the European Social Fund and sits within a wider Bosch Training Solutions offer, which also includes service training, skills bootcamps and other workshop-focused training services.
Apprenticeships Offered:
Apprenticeship standards detail what an apprentice will be doing in their day-to-day job role.
Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
Listed here are the apprenticeship standards this training provider offers training for.
