Riverlution

About
Riverlution
Riverlution is an environmental training provider focused on rivers, waterways and riparian habitats, offering apprenticeships and other skills-based programmes that blend practical conservation work with structured learning. The organisation is a registered training provider delivering the Level 3 Water Environment Worker Apprenticeship, having previously hosted apprentices on this standard for several years before taking on delivery themselves. This apprenticeship equips learners with skills in habitat and water level management, flood risk and drainage, practical access and asset maintenance, partnership and project work, and optional specialisms such as working with volunteers, managing heritage assets or responding to major incidents. Programmes typically run over 13 months (extendable to 18) and combine block weeks of in‑person training across sites in Yorkshire and the Humber with guided self‑study, remote modules and online classes, all supported by a dedicated skills coach for each apprentice. Riverlution’s wider training offer includes stewardship skills and commercial training linked to waterway management, delivered within a context of hands‑on environmental projects, corporate and community partnerships, and volunteering opportunities that aim to improve rivers while building local skills, employment pathways and social impact.
Apprenticeships Offered:
Apprenticeship standards detail what an apprentice will be doing in their day-to-day job role.
Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
Listed here are the apprenticeship standards this training provider offers training for.
