About
Queen Mary University of London
Queen Mary University of London delivers degree apprenticeship programmes that combine university study with paid employment, enabling apprentices to gain a full bachelor’s or master’s degree while working in their chosen profession. Apprentices split their time between part‑time study on campus and learning in the workplace, with tuition fees funded through the Apprenticeship Levy for larger employers or via co‑funding for smaller organisations. The university was one of the first Russell Group institutions to offer degree apprenticeships in 2015 and has since expanded its portfolio in collaboration with a diverse range of employers, including major financial services firms, banks, pharmaceutical companies, retailers, IT and technology companies, SMEs and third‑sector organisations. Queen Mary offers both undergraduate and postgraduate degree apprenticeships in areas such as digital and technology solutions, investment operations, senior professional economist, digital technology solutions specialist and academic professional (clinical education), with further programmes in engineering and health planned. The university also operates an internal staff apprenticeship scheme focused on areas like data, coaching, and leadership and management, using its levy to support skills development both within the institution and through levy transfers to external charitable organisations.
Apprenticeships Offered:
Apprenticeship standards detail what an apprentice will be doing in their day-to-day job role.
Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
Listed here are the apprenticeship standards this training provider offers training for.
