Professional Skills Academy

Professional Skills Academy is an apprenticeships main provider offering a growing portfolio of vocational apprenticeship programmes. The organisation is City & Guilds accredited and ILM leadership and management approved as a Centre of Excellence, and focuses on delivering high-quality, work-based training that supports both employers and learners. Current apprenticeship provision includes a Level 2 Bicycle Mechanic apprenticeship, which was the provider’s first offer, aimed at developing technical bike repair skills using high-quality parts and accessories, and delivered with support from experienced assessors who consult with employers to ensure programmes run smoothly. The provider has since expanded its offer to include Team Leadership apprenticeships at Levels 3 and 4, incorporating City & Guilds features for first-line and junior managers such as team leaders, supervisors and shift managers, as well as a Level 4 Junior Management Consultant apprenticeship aligned with ILM requirements. Professional Skills Academy also highlights its commitment to eco-friendly practices and the development of green knowledge skills, and invites employers to discuss additional apprenticeship needs, reflecting a flexible, demand-led approach to vocational training.
