About
Polaris Apprenticeships
Polaris Apprenticeships is the apprenticeship arm of Polaris, one of the UK’s largest children’s service providers, which has been supporting young people for over 37 years. As a main training provider, Polaris Apprenticeships focuses on Health and Social Care for children and young people, currently delivering the Level 4 Children, Young People and Families Practitioner apprenticeship across the West Midlands. Their programmes are aimed at employers in residential children’s homes, fostering and education settings who want to develop a workforce with the skills, knowledge and behaviours to improve outcomes for children and young people. Training is designed and delivered by staff with extensive front-line Health and Social Care experience and relevant professional qualifications, ensuring learning is rooted in real practice. Polaris Apprenticeships emphasises high-quality professional development, helping apprentices enhance practice standards and progress their careers in what can be demanding but highly rewarding roles. Apprentices are supported not only academically and vocationally but also through a strong focus on wellbeing, with access to information and support for mental health and other challenges that may arise in or outside the workplace.
Apprenticeships Offered:
Apprenticeship standards detail what an apprentice will be doing in their day-to-day job role.
Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
Listed here are the apprenticeship standards this training provider offers training for.
