Plumpton College

Plumpton College is a specialist land-based and environmental college offering a wide range of apprenticeship, vocational and higher education routes designed for both new entrants and existing employees in the land, food and environment sectors. Through its Business Services team, the college works directly with employers to identify appropriate training and recruitment solutions, including apprenticeships, accredited industry training and assessment, and workforce development support. Apprenticeships are promoted as suitable for anyone aged 16 and over at any career stage, enabling learners to develop skills, knowledge and behaviours while working, with training that can be applied immediately in their job role. In addition to apprenticeships, Plumpton College delivers adult and university courses across disciplines such as agriculture, animal management, horticulture, food skills, forestry, environmental studies and veterinary studies, supported by extensive specialist indoor and outdoor facilities. The college also runs LandPro Training, an accredited industry training and assessment service that can be delivered at the college’s dedicated centre or tailored on-site at employer premises, offering bespoke, sector-specific programmes to meet rigorous industry standards and emerging skills needs.(plumpton.ac.uk)
