About
PfP Thrive
PfP Thrive is the dedicated training academy of Places for People, focused on developing skills for the housing and construction sectors. It delivers expert-led apprenticeship and training programmes designed to bridge skills gaps, support workforce development and increase social value in the communities where employers operate. As part of the UK’s leading social enterprise, PfP Thrive offers structured learning solutions across four main areas: apprenticeships for employers, technical and future skills, organisational development and housing-related qualifications. Its provision is aimed both at bringing new talent into trade and technical roles and upskilling existing staff with accredited, industry-recognised training. The main PfP Thrive Academy at Centro Place in Derby combines high-tech classrooms with practical training facilities and delivers apprenticeship learning on a block-release basis to accommodate employers and learners from across the UK. Through additional Thrive Hubs and partnerships, PfP Thrive delivers courses and programmes nationally, including green skills and retrofit-related training linked to sector decarbonisation initiatives. The organisation also partners with other providers to offer flexible, government-funded online qualifications, enabling individuals to study remotely while gaining recognised credentials that support career progression and workforce capability.
Apprenticeships Offered:
Apprenticeship standards detail what an apprentice will be doing in their day-to-day job role.
Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
Listed here are the apprenticeship standards this training provider offers training for.
