Orange Moon Training

Orange Moon Training is a specialist work-based training provider focused on childcare, early years and education support roles. From its base in Nottingham, the organisation delivers accredited early years qualifications and short CPD programmes, as well as customised and contextualised accredited courses for practitioners in nursery, pre-school and school settings. It has supported nurseries and pre-school education settings since 2012 and offers training at multiple levels, including government-funded recruitment and staff development programmes and apprenticeship qualifications from Level 2 to Level 5 for nurseries and pre-schools. Orange Moon Training’s Early Years Academy Programme helps nursery and pre‑school operators ‘grow their own’ workforce by identifying, recruiting and developing new entrants through a fully funded, structured pathway, with opportunities for employers to host trainees on a voluntary basis before offering employment. The provider also works with a network of home-based early educators and childcare professionals to support wraparound care solutions, enabling nurseries to offer holistic childcare services for parents and children. Its programmes are designed to be flexible and tailored to the needs of different early years environments, with funding available for most courses to support both new entrants and existing staff to progress their careers while improving outcomes for children.
