About
Omni Academy
Omni Academy of Beauty is a specialist hair, beauty, make-up and aesthetics training provider based in Walton-on-Thames, Surrey. Established in 2008, it delivers professional NVQ and VRQ qualifications and apprenticeships designed to support entry and progression in the hair and beauty sector. The academy offers a structured pathway of Level 2, 3, 4 and 5 programmes, including hairdressing, beauty therapy, aesthetics, massage, make-up and nail courses, underpinned by qualifications from VTCT, a government-approved awarding body. Apprenticeship routes are available in hairdressing and beauty therapy at Levels 2 and 3, combining salon employment (typically a minimum of 30 hours per week) with one day per week training at the academy, on government-funded programmes where employers pay apprentices for their training time. Omni trains around 300 learners each year, supporting them to gain industry-recognised qualifications that can lead to roles in salons, on cruise ships or to starting their own business. The academy is an Ofsted-inspected provider and highlights a ‘Good’ rating across all areas in its 2024 report. Alongside technical skills, Omni offers business-focused courses such as “The Beauty of Business” series to help learners plan, market and manage beauty enterprises.
Apprenticeships Offered:
Apprenticeship standards detail what an apprentice will be doing in their day-to-day job role.
Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
Listed here are the apprenticeship standards this training provider offers training for.
