COPA

COPA is a North Wales-based training provider, formerly known as North Wales Training, that delivers apprenticeships and skills programmes across England and Wales. From its head office in Llandudno, COPA focuses on helping people of all ages reach their “peak potential” by gaining skills and qualifications for sustainable employment. The organisation offers over 300 courses, with a strong apprenticeship portfolio that includes pathways in active leisure, construction, management, early years, teaching and learning support, wellbeing, and advice and guidance. COPA works with employers to design training that addresses skills gaps, improves performance, and supports workforce development, and has been delivering apprenticeships in England since 2021. In addition to apprenticeships, COPA provides programmes such as Jobs Growth Wales+, short courses and other professional development options for individuals who are unemployed, early in their careers or looking to upskill. Rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted in 2023 for the quality of its apprenticeship provision, COPA emphasises a collaborative, people-centred approach grounded in its core values and long-standing partnerships with employers and communities.
Apprenticeships Offered:
Apprenticeship standards detail what an apprentice will be doing in their day-to-day job role.
Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
Listed here are the apprenticeship standards this training provider offers training for.
