About
Newbury College
Newbury College provides high-quality learning opportunities for individuals and employers in West Berkshire and the surrounding areas, with a strong focus on career outcomes rather than standalone courses. The college delivers a wide range of programmes across engineering, digital technologies, construction and building technology, health and social care, leadership and management, public services, sport and other vocational areas. Apprenticeships form a core part of its offer: Newbury College runs apprenticeship programmes for new and existing staff, combining practical workplace training with formal study, and supports recruitment through an Apprenticeship Vacancy Matching service. A dedicated Apprenticeship and Business Development Team works with employers and apprentices to ensure programmes lead to industry-relevant skills, successful completion and meaningful progression. Alongside apprenticeships, the college offers full-time career-focused programmes for young people, professional part-time courses and online qualifications for adults, with progression routes including degrees and postgraduate study via the on-site University Centre Newbury (UCN). Employers can also engage through T Level industry placements, skills bootcamps and bespoke training solutions, supported by specialist teams who align provision with business needs.
Apprenticeships Offered:
Apprenticeship standards detail what an apprentice will be doing in their day-to-day job role.
Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
Listed here are the apprenticeship standards this training provider offers training for.
