About
Newcastle College
Newcastle College is a further and higher education college offering hundreds of vocational courses, degrees and apprenticeships to learners across the North East of England. The College focuses on developing the skills that employers need, combining first-class specialist facilities across 10 buildings with teaching from tutors who have real industry experience. Apprenticeships are one of its core pathways, alongside full-time study options for 16–18 year olds, adults, and higher education at Newcastle College University Centre. Apprentices split their time between the workplace and college, gaining practical skills and nationally recognised qualifications in line with employer requirements. Across more than 80 full-time courses and a wide range of apprenticeship routes, programmes are designed to support progression into employment, further training or higher education. Newcastle College is part of the NCG group of colleges, whose mission is to enable social mobility and economic prosperity through exceptional education, and works closely with regional partners to align its curriculum with local skills and employment needs. A strong emphasis on student support, careers guidance and continuous improvement helps learners and employers get the best from their training experience.
Apprenticeships Offered:
Apprenticeship standards detail what an apprentice will be doing in their day-to-day job role.
Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
Listed here are the apprenticeship standards this training provider offers training for.
